Orange Blossom Water
They say citrus is like the sun… Bright, bold, & unwavering in light, which translates to uplifted feelings & chiseling away at stress, one spritz at a time! I didn’t expect to like this one so much, as I’m not a huge fan of Bloom (too much neroli for me, I think 🤷♀️😊) but Orange Blossom Water is like an angel’s whisper of reassurance that everything will be okay… Neroli is still in this blend, but it’s perfectly balanced & taken to a whole other level with yuzu, sweet blood orange, & orange blossom absolute (which I am in love with, where have you been all my life?! 😍😍😍) with vanilla, Tonka bean, & the faintest hint of vetiver to keep this scent grounded juuust enough to remind us of the glorious possibilities inherent in nature.
And that’s what perfume has become for me: another way to connect to the world around me; the heart of it all. To connect and be fully present in the moment, which are gifts not often experienced in life. When we do experience life in the here and now, in its truest sense, we realize what our greater purpose is in the grand scheme of things. There is so much we can accomplish, if only we can access certain parts of ourselves. Mindfulness, and finding joy in the here and now with people, places, and things that we love, are all part of this. My Twinkle perfumes are part of my daily moments of joy… That bring me back to the source of it all, one whiff at a time. 😊✨
Orange Blossom Water doesn’t last very long on the skin, so it really is something I enjoy in the moment, both literally & metaphorically. Citrus is beautiful and enchanting, but it does fade quite quickly, unfortunately! It is, however, a known anti-depressant in the world of aromatherapy, as it is uplifting and cheerful. It brings out our inner playfulness, too! Which is a big part of not taking things too seriously or personally in the grand scheme of things.
