Behold theπΉπ₯πΉ Nude Renaissance Palette πΉπ₯πΉ from Honeybee Gardens πππ! This is quite possibly the most beautiful palette I have ever seen in my lifeβ¦ Not just in Green Beauty! This palette is right up my alley because it evokes those feelings of nostalgia that I get when I think of a good book, of a period piece, of the endless hours I’ve spent reading historical fiction novels set during the Renaissance! Then, if that’s not enough, just take a peak at the inside of the palette where you’ll find warm, spicey shades SO utterly perfect for these warmer months, as well as Fall, it’s the stuff of dreams! ππβ¨π

What I seriously miss the most in green beauty is seasonal/holiday/themed launches that are found in conventional beauty. I know they’re harder for smaller brands with a tight budget to make & release, but any brand could sell their variation on the concept of a seasonal collection. I have NO idea why indie brands don’t do more seasonal & themed collectionsπ€·ββοΈ- they tend to be such amazing sellers because of the nostalgia and excitement they evoke! As adults, let’s be real, shall we? There’s not a whole lot to get excited about a lot of the time ππ so it’s really the little things like a new palette, blush, perfume, shade of lipstick, or book that make all the difference in our daily lives!

I’m so glad to see that an amazing brand like Honeybee Gardens, who just celebrated their 24th anniversary ππππ, is filling this much needed void in fun, themed palettes with sustainable packaging to boot! ππ All of the shades are cruelty-free, non-toxic, conveniently pressed, and you can remove the pans to replace certain shades you use up quicker or to create your own custom palette using the case and your imagination! π Every last detail is absolutely beautiful and so very thoughtfully curated! πΊβ¨πΊ Do these shades evoke the warmth of a sultry summer night, as well as get you excited for fall?? π πππ Continue reading to see swatches!
Swatches

Swatches from left to right: Ballet, Adonis, Utopia, Fresco, Galileo, Venus, Chateau, & Juliet.
Shade Descriptions
πΉThe Renaissance Palette consists of 5 matte shades and 3 shimmer/sheen shades that embody the true essence of Warmth in color form! πβ¨πππ΅οΈ
πΉBallet is a perfect, cool-toned, brightening bone shade to apply all over the lid, inner corner, & brow bone, and to have some fun with shadow-play to add some dimension and light with the other deeper shades.
πΉAdonis is such a beautiful, peachy crease shade for that pop of warmth that makes me think of sorbet, Jack-o-lanterns, cozy sweaters, & changing leaves.
πΉFresco is the perfect gilded, bronze shade with a sheen finish while Venus is a bright, pigmented pop of warm rust with a burnished red undertone that also doubles as a beautiful blush! #doubledutybeauty
πΉMy personal favorite shade is Utopia (I’m boring, I know π) because it’s a perfect π one and done, taupe with mauve/blush undertones and a hint of frosty sheen with cool-toned shimmer. I live for unique taupe shades like this! They look amazing all on their own, yet add beautiful dimension to all of the other shades in the palette–how creative you want to get is totally up to you!

πΉLastly, the three darkest matte shadesβ¦ Chateau is a deep maroon with brick/mahogany undertones and a completely matte finish. My ONLY gripe with the color choices is that Galileo and Juliet are pretty darn close in color and Galileo looks lighter in the pan, but is actually the more pigmented, deeper shade of the two, and even that’s more of an observation than a complaint. Galileo is a deep plum with gray undertones and Juliet is a charcoal shade with a hint of plum. I really, really built up the swatch of Juliet in an attempt to show the color. Every other shade is a dream to work with and Juliet was the only one I really struggled to swatch. Juliet applies nicely with a damp brush when used as a liner & applies smoothly on the eyes, however!
I love that the pans can be removed, so you can swap out different shades and create your own custom palette using this beautiful, eco-conscious case! ππIf these kinds of shades are up your alley, you will love everything about the Nude Renaissance Palette!
