Honeybee Gardens is one of the first brands that I was originally introduced to when I first started using natural makeup, so there’s always a special place in my heart for their brand! All of their products are natural and cruelty-free with products that range from water-based nail polish, mascara, eyeliner, lipstick, foundation, loose mineral shadows, and pressed mineral shadows. I feel very grateful and honored that Honeybee Gardens sent me The Cosmopolitan Eyeshadow Palette in exchange for an honest review. I’ve been eyeing this palette for months ever since I saw a review of it on YouTube.
The palette consists of four pressed eyeshadows in shades that are perfect neutrals with a subtle twist that’s perfect for Spring!
The palette comes packaged in a cardboard case with a city-scape picture and a magnetic closure. The palette includes a double ended brush that can be useful for on-the-go touch ups. I personally used my own brush when applying these shades.
The palette labels the name of each shade underneath the pan, which I find very helpful and I think it’s a nice addition that many other palettes don’t include.
The shades are from left to right: Kashmir, Satin Sheets, PS Pink, Angelic
The back of the palette: Lists the amount of product in each pan and total net weight.
Shades from left to right: Kashmir, Satin Sheets, PS Pink, Angelic
Each shade is pigmented, smooth, densely packed, has ZERO fallout or kick-up, and is easily blendable.
I had a lot of fun using these shades for different purposes, due to how versatile they really are. The fact that the overall texture and formula is so smooth, it really adds to the overall versality of each shade, as well. I’ll list how I used each shade below, along with the shade descriptions.
Kashmir: a medium-deep matte neutral brown. This shade is so versatile because it’s great as a crease shade and a liner shade. I also used this shade to fill in my eyebrows today and it worked perfectly. Lastly, I used this shade as a contour color and it worked really well for that, too!
Satin Sheets: This is a beautiful golden champagne shade with a very pretty sheen that really brightens the eyes. It’S perfect for a one color wash or to use as an inner corner highlight, brow-bone highlight, inner-lid highlight, or as a cheek-bone highlight! Since this shade has more of a sheen, rather than overt shimmer particles, it makes a very pretty face highlighter. I’m not one for big shimmer particles, so I’m really glad that none of the shades in this palette are overly shimmery. So, they’re perfect for day time wear, but can be amped up by applying it wet for a foiled effect.
PS Pink: A mid-tone, matte rosey pink with slight mauve undertones. At first, I wasn’t so sure about this shade because most pink eyeshadows make me look like I’m sick, but surprisingly, this one worked really well for me! It’s neutral enough that it doesn’t make me look ill and it’s actually a very flattering crease color. It’s also great for Spring! What I really, really love about this shade is that it doubles as the most wearable and beautiful pink blush! The eyeshadow pans are far enough apart that you don’t have to worry about getting some of the other shades next to the pink when you apply it with your blush brush. The color applied smoothly, evenly, and lasted all day on my oily skin!
Angelic: A light pink, mauve with lilac undertones and a beautiful silver sheen. This is great as a one color wash, inner corner highlight, brow bone highlight, or as a face highlight! Just like with the color Satin Sheets, this shade has more of a sheen rather than shimmer, so it’s soft enough to be used as a cool-toned face highlight.
Overall, I absolutely LOVE the versatility of the palette. Not only are you getting four standalone eyeshadows, but you’re also getting a blush, contour shade, and face highlight in the same palette! You can take this palette with you when you travel and all you would need is your foundation, lip color, and mascara! I’m also blown away by the quality of each eyeshadow shade. Each color is fully pigmented and so easily blendable that it’s impossible to mess anything up.
Today, I applied Satin Sheets all over my lid up to my brow bone and used this shade as an inner corner highlight. Then I applied Angelic on my lower lid under the browbone. I used PS Pink as a crease color/transition color. Lastly, I used Kashmir to slightly deepen up the crease and outer V and used it as an eyeliner.
I also used Kashmir to fill in my brows.
This is my eye look:
- Root Pearl Powder Foundation in 3
- PS Pink as Blush
- Kashmir as Contour/bronzer
- Satin Sheets as a highlighter
- Mineral Fusion Molten Fusion Lipstick
- Root 100% Lash Natural Mascara in Black

I would definitely recommend this palette! As I mentioned before, Honeybee Gardens did send me this product in exchange for an honest review, so all opinions are still my own and I truly do feel that this is a great palette to have, especially for the upcoming Spring and Summer months! Neutrals are always great to have on hand, especially neutrals that can double as other products like I’ve done today! I know I’ll be getting a lot of use out of this palette!
